Expressions of Interest

JBM Tenancy Engagement Process

Step 1 – Complete Expression of Interest Form 

• • Submit completed form to commercialunit@jbm.gov.jm

Step 2 – Assessment of Requirement

• • Internal examination of interest and shortlisting of aligned properties
  • Email to contact person with the proposal of shortlisted properties with date and time for visits.

Step 3 – Site Visit

• • Organize visit with Land Development/Estate and or Port; request clean up and accessibility

Step 4 – Confirmation of Interest

• • Report on site discussions and agreements
  • Email to contact person confirming interest

Step 5– Financial Proposal

• • Propose lease fees to intended tenant (if available) and/or request bid for tenancy 

Step 6 – Negotiation and Deliberation

• • Perusal and approval of submission by Managing Director and Tenancy Review Committee.

Step 7 – Contractual Engagement

• • Draft and ratify lease agreement
